"As a young man I was in Mexico with a couple friends. We passed through an extremely poor area with cardboard homes and tarp roofs. Standing in front of small one room school house was a woman overseeing obout 8 children playing in the dust. She wore a wide brimmed hat, a crisp muslin blouse, and a tattered levi dress. I was struck and overwhelm
